                Colombian Indigenous Activist Speaks on Plan Colombia

                A Colombian human rights activist and farmer visited the University of Idaho Thursday, October 22nd to reveal the real impact behind Plan Colombia and other free trade policies. Speaking through a translator, Rafael Coicue (coy-cway) of the Association of Indigenous Councils told a group that U.S. taxpayer dollars are mostly benefiting a few wealthy landowners and multinational corporations operating in Colombia.
